The top reason the Humans don't deserve the Earth

Today, I am going to get a very fundamental topic off my chest. The reason it is so important is that it needs to be saved. We all love the smell of the flowers, the mud when it first rains and the beauty of the nature around us. An average person is always more attracted to the natural beauty than the man made edifices. The human-made beauty such as skyscrapers and monument is short loved but enjoyed because of the panoramic view it provides of the nature.

As we all heard of it, the earth is dying. Our focus is myopic because we are only worried about the plastic. There seems to be more to it than what meets the eye. Working to make ends meet, I realized how cruel some of the people were. Let me break it down for you.

The last place I worked was a warehouse. It had shipment products coming in from around the world. The task at hand was to sort out the shipment and dispatch it according to the location.

The job was tiresome and involved heavy labour but what hurt me the most was the fact that all the returned shipment was destroyed. Yes! It was thrown along with other do
It has become a common practice in warehouses to wrap everything with plastic and dispose it off within minutes. There is no control on its use and people literally don't care about the repurcussions of using plastic unnecessarily. Even loose fruits are packed together (they say to maintain freshness, when in reality, its already sprayed with pesticides and other chemicals such as wax)

mestic waste in the dumpyard. Be it brand new nike or puma shoes, Armani belts, most expensive watches and trousers, nothing was spared. Why would someone do that?

I couldn't contemplate the reason for creating such unnecessary waste. How could someone throw away almost 1000kg of new products in a day. If you think about it, each product involved so much time and manpower. You might laugh out that this is ridiculous thinking about plastics and garments. But what about food?

When working for a catering department, I witnessed something that would haunt me for days to come. Freshly cooked food would be wasted mercilessly, just to save time on clearing the clutter. Once the appetizers were served, the remainder would be dumped straight in the bin. How inhumane! Don't these people have any empathy? They throw away a farmer's months of struggle within seconds. It takes so much sweat and hard work and the rich squander it all without any second thought. Disgraceful, right?

Ergo, it is a right thing to save the planet individually, but first, we could stop this menace of wastage. All of the remaining products could be contributed to the needy and the destitute. The world would be such a better place if the CEO also thought about the future, and there were regulations imposed by the government to control such foolishness from the wealthy.

There are alot of non-profit organizations that take up your remaining food items and distribute it to the orphans and other poor people. Please contribute the remaining food instead of throwing it away. This is your chance to be magnanimous. Would you consider throwing $500 worth of cash into the bin?? Think wisely! Save the earth, friend!! Unfortunately, there's only one of it.

Goa has always been a clean spot for the tourists, but lately, you can find broken bottle glass pieces, plastic and papers thrown carelessly on the streets and even in water bodies such as springs and waterfalls. What has come on humans? The Goans usually blame it on the so called 'ghantis' but fail to realise that they too are equally responsible for this menace. They carry glass bottles to the water bodies and intoxicate while bathing in the cold waters. Some of them lose grasp of the bottles and they break into numerous bits that tear the flesh of other people who come to enjoy later. Please avoid littering at such beautiful places.
