Best of the beaches in North Goa and South Goa

Being a Goan, I've spent most of my life playing in the crisp white sands of the nearest beach to my home, Benaulim. And as I moved to my teenage years, I started exploring more coverted shores and made some fantastic discoveries too, some of which are hard to explain. Here, I have mentioned some of the best beaches I personally liked, based chronologically according to the preferences.

1.Palolem beach
Simply beautiful. The sands all pristine along with the water. Best place to have those dolphin watching trips and kayaking.

2. Calangute beach

If you're one of those people who desire rave and entertainment, i would recommend you to be in calangute, the place of euphoria. With collosal clubs and rave parties on daily basis, you'd eventually be engrossed in the hustle bustle around the place.

3. Agonda beach
Another clean beach having lots of beachside shacks and huts for rent. You're surely going to get a completely different feel visiting Agonda as the shore is burgeoning with so many new edifices promoting tourism.

4. Arrosim beach
This beach might be hard to find, as it's oblivious to many people. What you're sure to find there is a clean and pristine sand secluded unlike any, having no possible shacks. If you want to get away from all the hustle bustle of the traffic, get your GPS navigating to this deserted beach for some peaceful time.

5. Colva beach
this place is just bustling with people all time of the year and is accessible very easily. It's only about 15 minutes from madgao railway station. You are sure to find all varieties of eateries and kiosks and shacks specialised in multi-cuisines to treat your taste buds.

6. Arambol beach
This beach stands unique among the rest. The reason being that it's got this seraphic lake right on the shore and surrounded by palm trees that provide a blissful place for siesta. Tourists are seen smearing 'Fuller's clay (multani mitti)' on their body and then cleansing themselves in the fresh water lake. The lake tastes abit alkali due to the salty sea water and breeze in the vicinity.
There are huts available for rent besides the lake. And yes, it is a lot of walking from the main beach to get to the lake side (around 30 minutes)
